The Regional Museum Koblenz presents its visitors with attractive permanent and temporary exhibitions in four exhibition buildings at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.
The State Museum of Koblenz is located in the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. In four exhibition buildings, permanent and temporary exhibitions are showcased – there is something for every area of interest as well as for young and old. One of the focuses is on cultural and economic history, highlighting developments that changed the world from Rhineland-Palatinate. In the House of Enjoyment, viticulture as an important sector of the economy is illuminated, and the topic of photography is also given attention in a permanent exhibition. There, an overview of the history of the medium from its beginnings to the present day is presented. In collaboration with the State Archaeology, the House of Archaeology showcases in a permanent exhibition the traces of human life along the Middle Rhine and Moselle since prehistoric times.
